I can't believe this is only the second time I've played this course. I really didn't remember it from the first time I played it a few years ago but I won't soon forget it after this weekend. The course was in outstanding shape. From the tee box to the green, the course was virtually flawless. The only drawback was that I would have expected the greens to be a little faster on a course like this. Still a lot faster than most courses though.
They have very reasonable greens fees maxing out at $48 on the weekend ($63 w/cart) and $39 on a weekday ($51 w/cart) which drops to $32 after 1 pm and $20 after 5pm (weekend & weekday). They have a grass driving range with plenty of room to practice. The layout is moderate to difficult with the course demanding you to layup on a number of drives due to strategically placed brooks. Also, we must have played on the same day as a tournament because every pin was tucked away in some corner which made you not only hit the fairway, but be on the correct side of it as well.
I would love to play this course again knowing what shots I need to hit off of the tee, like the par 5 18th which is a 485yd dogleg left, which begins to dogleg at about 175 yds. I thought I hit a great shot, shaving off a good 100 yds of the dogleg, but I found myself completely through the fairway, past the woods that separate the 18th and 10th, and without a shot. Still love the hole though because of the great risk and reward aspect of it. The only other drawback about the course was that they wouldn't allow you to bring cans of beer out on the course, even if you bought it at the bar. The bartender gave me a plastic solo cup and sent me on my way. They didn't even sell beer in the beer cart that was driving around. Minor details though.
All in all, I would recommend this course to everybody with a caveat to the beginner golfer to have a lot of patience and expect to shoot a very high score.
