One step up from Old Scotland Links, this course can be very enjoyable and challenging at times.
Usually in very good condition, the layout centers around marsh area and large greens. I've never really had a problem with the pace of play here and have always considered this course to be really OK. That's right... It's a fun course to play but really has no signature holes or something to remember it by.
Depending on the tees you play, shooting a good score here can be very rewarding though.
I just don't like the fact that I can never reach the Par 5 18th in 2. I always feel that with a good drive, you should be rewarded with the chance of reaching the green in 2 with a great second shot and making an eagle, especially if it's the 18th hole.
This is a course for all players, but is probably geared more towards the seasoned golfer. Greens fees are a little high but well worth the occasional play.
